A THC drink display tag should carry only what the bottle label already says, plus the store's age check line and a lab report pointer. For Kronton Elixir, that means the flavor name, the plant type label, live rosin, hemp-derived THC, the bottle size and ready-to-drink.
Shelf talkers and cooler tags are small. A tag built from the label keeps staff, shoppers and the bottle all saying the same thing. The sections below give stores a short word list, sample layouts and a list of words to leave off.
What a shelf talker for THC drinks is for
A shelf talker is a small sign clipped to a shelf edge or cooler door. It names the product and points the shopper to the right bottle. Short tags suit shoppers who scan a shelf quickly.
For THC beverage signage, the tag has one more job. It repeats facts the shopper can confirm on the bottle. If a word on the tag is not on the label, it does not belong on the tag.
Label facts to copy onto the tag
Kronton lists three Elixir flavors in the Elixir collection. Each product page lists its label facts. These are the words a tag can use.
- Cotton Candy - Elixir: hybrid, live rosin, hemp-derived THC, ready-to-drink, shelf-stable.
- Strawberry Cough Splash - Elixir: sativa, live rosin, hemp-derived THC, 375 ml (12.68 fl oz), ready-to-drink, shelf-stable.
- Mango Slushie - Elixir: indica, live rosin, hemp-derived THC, 375 ml (12.68 fl oz), ready-to-drink, shelf-stable.
Copy the bottle size from the bottle in hand. Use the exact flavor name as printed. Write the plant type as the label shows it, one word, with no extra description.
Stores that want plain definitions of these terms for staff can use How to Read a THC Drink Label and the guide to what a live rosin THC drink is.
The age check line
Each tag should carry the store's own age check line. Kronton marks its monthly pack for adults 21 and over. A store tag can repeat the age and state its own ID routine.
- 21 and over. ID checked at the register.
- Adults 21+ only. Have ID ready.
- ID required for this product. 21 and over.
Keep the wording the same on every tag in the THC drink display. One consistent line is easier for staff to back up at the counter.
The lab report pointer
Kronton places a lab report link inside the product description on each Elixir page. A tag does not need to quote the report. It only needs to tell the shopper where to look.
- Lab report: see the product page at enjoykronton.com.
- Lab report link on the Elixir product page.
A shopper checking a report should match the product name, the format and the lot or sample reference against the package. A sample reference is not always the same number as the batch code on the package. If the two do not line up, the shopper can ask the store. The guide to finding and reading a Kronton lab report walks staff through it.
What never goes on a tag
A tag is not a place for claims. Leave off anything the label does not print. The list below covers the common slips.
- Words about how a drink acts on a person.
- Any word about the body or the mind.
- Strength words, amounts or numbers from a lab report.
- Rankings such as top pick or number one.
- Prices, if the store keeps prices on a separate price strip.
If staff want to add a line, run it past one test: can a shopper find this exact word on the bottle? If not, cut it.
Sample tag layouts
Three short layouts fit a standard shelf edge or cooler door. Each uses label words only.
- Mango Slushie Elixir. Indica. Live rosin. Hemp-derived THC. 375 ml, ready-to-drink. 21+, ID checked. Lab report on the product page.
- Strawberry Cough Splash Elixir. Sativa. Live rosin. Hemp-derived THC. 375 ml, ready-to-drink. 21+, ID checked. Lab report on the product page.
- Cotton Candy Elixir. Hybrid. Live rosin. Hemp-derived THC. Ready-to-drink, shelf-stable. 21+, ID checked. Lab report on the product page.
